Home short sleeve shirt as worn during the 2010 Fifa World Cup with Mexican talisman Javier Hernandez's nameset. After getting off the mark with a 1-1 draw against hosts South Africa, the Mexicans faced France in their next fixture in what was expected to be their toughest test of the group stage. Following a cagey opening hour, 'Chicharito' came off the bench to open the scoring and set his country on their way to a 2-0 victory - picking up the man of the match award in the process. In the Round of 16, Hernandez was rewarded for his excellent performances as he was named in the starting line up against Argentina, but despite scoring again, Mexico fell to a comprehensive 3-1 defeat. However, "Chicharito' had announced himself on the world stage ahead of his big move to Manchester United that summer.
This shirt is an official Adidas template and is a lighter and perhaps more 'classic' shade of green compared to some of the more recent installments. It has a unique pattern which resembles feathers, whilst the red and white trim gives this jersey a very classy finish.
