Home short sleeve Adizero player issue shirt as worn by AC Milan stars such as Alessio Romagnoli, Giacomo Bonaventura and Patrick Cutrone during the 2017/18 season. It was a season of consolidation for the Rossoneri, who finished sixth in the Serie A table, runners-up in the Coppa Italia, and who made their first appearance in European competition for four seasons. The 5-1 aggregate defeat to Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 shows that the club is still rebuilding towards greater things. Over the summer of 2018, both Gonzalo Higuain and Tiemoue Bakayoko have been drafted in on loan, with later options to buy. Veteran kit collectors will notice that this season's shirt is a throwback to the designs of the late 1980s through to the end of the last century. The classic red and black stripes adorn the back of the shirt, a feature which has been keenly missing for a number of seasons prior.
